Karl Zimmer

Karl Zimmer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karl currently serves as the President of Florida Beef Inc., a company that operates cattle harvest and fabrication facilities. Karl was appointed to the Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for Trade in Cotton, Tobacco, and Peanuts by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service. Karl has also held leadership roles in the American Peanut Shellers Association and the American Peanut Council. Karl played a key role in the founding and growth of Premium Peanut, serving as the President and CEO. Prior to their involvement in the peanut industry, Karl worked for General Cable, where they held several senior-level positions, including Senior Vice President of Europe & Africa Product Supply and Global Supply Chain. Karl began their career at GE Aircraft Engines, where they completed the Operations Management Leadership Program and served as a Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Karl Zimmer pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 1994 and 1999. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Private Aircraft Pilot, including Single Engine Land, Multi-Engine Land, and Instrument Rated, from the Federal Aviation Administration.
