Mellow Scheetz

Mellow Scheetz has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service, currently serving as the Central/Southern Regional Recruitment Coordinator for the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles since October 2017. In addition to this role, Mellow Scheetz serves as a Patrol Sergeant in the US Air Force Reserve, where responsibilities include coordinating search and rescue activities and managing emergency action messages. Prior experience includes serving as a Recruiting Sergeant and State Trooper with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles from May 2004 to August 2013, conducting traffic accident investigations. Mellow Scheetz also served in the United States Air Force from November 1996 to October 2007, holding various roles including Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager. Mellow Scheetz holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Indian River State College, obtained between 2010 and 2012.
