Dr. Kathleen O'Leary Havelka

Dr. Kathleen O'Leary Havelka serves as Senior Vice President of Research, Development, and Applications at Advancion Corporation since April 2021 and previously held the role of Vice President of Research and Development at ANGUS Chemical Company. Dr. Havelka is an active member of the Science Advisory Board for FFP since March 2023. At Fuchs Lubricants Co., from July 2015 to April 2021, Dr. Havelka held titles including Senior Director of Research & Development and Quality Control, where leadership involved overseeing over 30 professionals and aligning R&D with business objectives. Earlier experience includes Director of Product Development at Elevance Renewable Sciences, Senior Director of Research & Development at Diversey, and various strategic roles at The Lubrizol Corporation, contributing significantly to product innovation and business growth. Dr. Havelka holds a PhD in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University and has completed several executive education programs at prestigious institutions.
