Amy Mamutaj

Amy Mamutaj, MPH, CPH, currently serves as the Dialysis Infection Prevention Coordinator and HAI Epidemiologist at Florida Health, where expertise in CDC guidance on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) is applied to address novel multidrug-resistant organisms. Responsibilities include collaboration with health departments and healthcare facilities for outbreak investigations, policy evaluations for HAI prevention, and the development of tailored infection prevention education. Previous experience includes an Infection Prevention Intern role at Empath Health, where compliance with infection prevention standards was ensured, and a Program Evaluator position at South Florida College of Public Health, conducting quantitative data analysis for program assessments.
