Calvin Munson

Lab Manager And Lead Technician For Campbell Lab at Florida International University

Calvin Munson is currently a Ph.D. student in the Raimondi-Carr Lab at the University of California, Santa Cruz, since September 2020. In addition, Calvin serves as a Lab Manager and Lead Technician for the Campbell Lab at Florida International University, where responsibilities include streamlining data processing and quality assurance for the Thalassia Experimental Network, which focuses on coastal seagrass habitats in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean. Prior experience includes working as a farm hand at Munson Farms from 2011 to August 2019 and serving as an undergraduate research assistant in the Witman Lab at Brown University, where research focused on marine ecology and the effects of El Niño. Calvin holds a Sc.B. in Biological Sciences with Honors from Brown University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
