Sara Spears is an Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General since August 2023. Previously, Sara served as a Law Clerk at Banker Lopez Gassler P.A. and as a Clinic Student at Stetson University Veterans Law Institute. Additional experiences include roles as a Legal Intern at Barr & Klein PLLC, Law Fellow at The Fund for American Studies, Legal Assistant at Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz, PLLC, and Student Assistant at the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Escambia County. Sara began their legal career as a Research Associate with The Federalist Society and a Leadership Scholar in the Public Policy + Economics Summer Program. Educational achievements include a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida. Currently, Sara is pursuing further education at George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School.
