Dance Program Director And Associate Professor Of Dance at Florida Southern College

Erin LaSala Phillips has a diverse work experience in the field of dance education. Erin started their career in 2003 as the Dance Department Director and Professional Educator at Hernando County Schools, where they worked until 2006. Erin then joined Kent State University in 2009 as an Assistant Professor and Dance Education Coordinator, where they stayed until 2014. In 2011, Erin also worked as the Program Director and Instructor at Jacksonville University Summer Dance Intensive. Since 2014, they have been associated with Florida Southern College, initially as the Dance Program Director and Assistant Professor of Dance, and later as the Dance Program Director and Associate Professor of Dance. Erin has demonstrated their expertise and passion for teaching dance through their various roles throughout their career.

Erin LaSala Phillips earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Dance Education from the University of South Florida in the years 1998 to 2003. Erin later pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Dance Choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2006 to 2009.
