Joe Czaja

Joe Czaja is an experienced higher education professional with a strong background in student affairs and administration, currently serving as the Assistant Director for Administration & Operations and previously as a Residence Coordinator at Florida State University since July 2017. Joe has effectively utilized institutional priorities to develop lesson plans and training initiatives, collaborating with faculty and external stakeholders. With a proven ability to assess staff needs and improve training opportunities, Joe has conducted numerous presentations on crisis management and facilitated the hiring and onboarding processes for various staff positions. Prior experience includes serving as Residence Hall Director at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, managing a large residence hall, and earlier roles as a Graduate Assistant at Florida State University. Joe holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Student Affairs from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Central College.
