Michel Spruance

Peak Performance Coach at Flow Research Collective

Michel is a compassionate results-driven peak performance coach, committed to helping her clients harness their untapped potential to achieve big things. Michel believes that when each of us steps into the greater potential, we have the capacity to make impactful positive changes to better themselves and the world.

An insatiable learner, Michel comes from a background in education, where she taught Middle and High School History, and holds a Masters in Education. She loves the science behind how we learn and has crafted and delivered research-based programs in wellbeing and mindfulness for the corporate world since 2008.

Since leaving the traditional classroom, Michel has accumulated a host of professional certifications and applied them in the small businesses she has owned and operated since 2006.

In 2022 Michel sold her successful yoga studio in downtown Seattle after 13 years, allowing her to focus solely on coaching small business leaders and entrepreneurs into peak performance.

She brings 20+ years as a facilitator and coach to her work at FRC, having worked with teams and leaders from companies such as Amazon, Starbucks and Wayfair, to smaller companies such as REI and Overlake Hospital.

Michel is a co-founder of Space Between, a non-profit that facilitates educational transformation through research-based mindfulness programs in Washington State schools, and is the author of Emerge Mindfully: Less Stress and More Joy From Difficult Times.

Michel finds primary flow in her life on her skis, biking and playing in the mountains.
