Serge Ireland

Serge Ireland has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Serge began their career at Goodmans Loudspeakers Ltd, where they worked in various roles such as Product Design Engineer, Sales Engineer, Manager of Business Development, and Manager of Operations. Following their time at Goodmans, Serge joined Kingfisher plc as the Group Supplier Development Director, responsible for vendor development, international vendor sourcing, supply chain optimization, and vendor performance. During their tenure, Serge successfully implemented strategic vendors, improved overall vendor performance, and achieved significant cost savings. Currently, Serge is employed at Flowserve Corporation, where they have held several positions, including Director of Supplier Development, Director of Supply Chain Management, Head of Supply Chain Transformation, Director of Global Procurement, and Director of Supply Chain Operational Excellence.

Serge Ireland completed a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Portsmouth from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, they attended the same university for an HND in Mechanical Engineering. Serge also studied at Chichester College from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained an OND in Mechanical Engineering.
