Peter Silveira

Peter Silveira has a comprehensive work experience in manufacturing engineering and operations. Peter currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Manufacturing at Fluence since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Manufacturing from August 2020 to January 2023. Before their role at Fluence, Peter worked at NEC Energy Solutions Inc. from 2014 to 2020, initially as the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and later as the Senior Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. Peter also held the role of Director of Operations at NEC Energy Solutions from 2008 to 2020. Peter's earlier experience includes positions at A123 Systems, LLC as a Senior Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and at American Power Conversion as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer II. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in developing manufacturing strategies, standardizing processes, supporting new product development, and optimizing asset utilization.

Peter Silveira earned an Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the New England Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998. Peter went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the same institute from 1998 to 2000.
