Gary Zweiger

Gary Zweiger has a diverse work experience in the life sciences industry. Gary was the Co-founder, Investor, and Adviser at Fluent BioSciences Inc. starting in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant, Adviser, and Investor at their own company, providing consulting services to life sciences companies and investment firms, as well as advising student groups at Stanford and individual investors. Gary also evaluated applications of genomics technologies in various fields.

Gary also worked as an Investor/Adviser at Mission Bio and Amaryllis Nucleics in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Gary served as an Operating Partner and Venture Partner at Cota Capital from 2020 to 2022.

From 2013 to 2020, Gary co-founded and managed as the Managing Director at BioInflexion Point Partners, LLC. They helped companies in the life sciences sector with innovative technologies reach commercial readiness. Gary was involved in the early investments of companies like Moleculo, Zephyrus Biosciences, and Mission Bio.

Other roles include serving as an Advisory Board Member at Blueprint Genetics, an Investor/Adviser at Akadeum Life Sciences, Inc., and an Investor/Adviser (and temporary Head of Business Development) at Purigen Biosystems. Gary was also an Investor/Chief Business Development Officer at Zephyrus Biosciences.

Gary Zweiger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University from 1982 to 1986. Gary then pursued a PhD in Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993.
