Prafull Kotecha

Prafull Kotecha has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Prafull'smost recent position is as the Lead Cloud Engineer at Fluidra North America, beginning in March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Java Architect at Transamerica from April 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they served as an Application Architect - Cloud at American Airlines from July 2020 to March 2021. Prafull also worked as a Solutions Architect - Java at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) from August 2019 to May 2020.

Prafull'searly career includes a significant tenure at Ingram Content Group, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer from September 2009 to August 2019. At Ingram, Prafull played a crucial role in building the ebook distribution business and designing an in-house solution. Prafull also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Vaco from December 2008 to September 2009.

Before transitioning to American companies, Prafull worked at Infosys Technologies Limited from August 2002 to November 2008, initially starting as a software engineer and later progressing to the role of Project Manager. During their time at Infosys, they worked on various projects for clients in different industries such as transportation, retail, media, and entertainment.

Prafull began their career as a Software Engineer at KRSL in 2000, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at 3i Infotech. At 3i Infotech, they were involved in the development of Java-based solutions for ICICI Bank and also implemented India's Root Certifying Authority for the Ministry of IT.

Throughout their career, Prafull Kotecha has demonstrated expertise in cloud engineering, Java architecture, application and solution design, and software development.

Prafull Kotecha completed their Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Aurangabad from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Bal Vidya Mandir from 1985 to 1995, focusing on Physical Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Prafull has obtained various certifications in cloud computing, including Associate Cloud Engineer from Google Cloud in 2023, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate and DevOps Engineer Expert from Microsoft in 2021, among others.
