Mike Stopforth has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mike is currently the Managing Director at Flume Digital Marketing. In addition, they are the Co-founder of 48H, a company that specializes in managing social media crises.
Mike has also held various roles in the past. Mike was the Director at Beyond Binary, where they helped business leaders understand technological ideas and trends for better decision making. Mike was the CEO of Cerebra, Africa's leading social media agency, and played a pivotal role in its growth.
Furthermore, Mike is recognized as an International Speaker and has delivered keynote speeches at over 400 conferences and events. Mike is also the author of the well-received book, "Brand Schizo", which explores the gap between brand promises and delivery.
Earlier in their career, Mike co-founded companies such as 27dinners, which organized monthly events for individuals interested in technology and entrepreneurship, and Afrigator Internet, an African content aggregator that was acquired by Naspers.
Prior to these ventures, Mike worked as a Consultant for TomorrowToday.biz, where they focused on developing strategic thinking and educational tools related to social media emergence.
Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in digital innovation, disruption, leadership, branding, and marketing. Mike has a passion for exploring new ideas and sharing impactful insights with others.
Mike Stopforth completed their MSc in Social Business and Entrepreneurship at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2018 to 2019.
