Chandra Nair

Chandra Nair is a highly experienced engineer with a robust background in various engineering roles across notable companies. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Fluor Corporation since December 2022, Nair specializes in FLNG modules and petrochem structures. Previous experience includes serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Aker Solutions, focusing on umbilicals and distribution systems, and as a Senior Naval Architect at Austal, where expertise in hydrodynamics and high-speed aluminum vessels for the US Navy was developed. Nair's extensive career also encompasses roles at BP and Wood Group Kenny, where contributions included the development of complex subsea systems and the establishment of a floating systems group. Nair holds an MBA in Finance from Rice Business and degrees in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from Florida Atlantic University and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, respectively.
