Tommy Fennelly

Tommy Fennelly has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Tommy is currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Lending Works since June 2021. Prior to this, Tommy worked at IBM for a period of ten years, from October 2011 to May 2021. During their time at IBM, they held the position of Senior Strategic Analytics Consultant, where they applied business modelling and analytic techniques to various strategic business problems for clients. Tommy's responsibilities included data analysis, developing business cases, financial modelling, and reporting. Before joining IBM, Tommy worked at Cartesian as a Business Consultant from October 2007 to October 2011. In this role, they collaborated with major UK telecom companies, handling technical and business analyst roles and leading billing and customer data projects. Tommy also contributed to a major operator's handset acquisition strategy, developed software, and served as a software tester.

Tommy Fennelly completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from University College Dublin from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing at the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2007.
