Selina Anaya, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Selina has recently held the position of Account Manager at Fluxergy since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Loma Linda University from October 2022 to February 2023. Selina also has extensive experience at Loma Linda University where they served as a Graduate Research Associate from September 2017 to August 2022. During their time there, they also worked as a Medical Microbiology Laboratory Facilitator from August 2019 to June 2022 and as a Research Mentor for the Apprenticeship Bridge to College Program in June 2017. Selina gained practical experience as a Health Scholar at COPE Health Scholars from August 2014 to August 2016. In addition, they participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at Loma Linda University in June 2015, where they studied the impact of beach pollution on sand temperatures and post-Hawksbill sea turtle hatchling migration patterns on the bay island of Utila, Honduras.

Selina Anaya, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from La Sierra University. Selina attended La Sierra University from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, Selina pursued further education at Loma Linda University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Microbiology, General. Selina attended Loma Linda University from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Doctor of Philosophy, Biology from Loma Linda University in September 2022.
