Grégory Verdon

Grégory Verdon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple research institutions. Grégory is currently working at Sosei Heptares as a Senior Scientist II since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Scientist I at the same company from February 2017 to December 2021.

Before joining Sosei Heptares, Grégory worked at Imperial College London as a Research Associate from October 2013 to December 2016. Here, their work focused on mammalian membrane protein production in yeast, optimization of membrane protein purification and crystallization, and structure determination of various proteins.

From September 2009 to August 2013, Grégory worked as a Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine, contributing to research projects in the field of molecular biology.

Prior to this, they held a similar position as a Research Associate at Columbia University in the City of New York from January 2004 to July 2009.

Grégory Verdon received their Ph.D. in Protein X-ray Crystallography from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a D.E.A degree (equivalent to a Master's degree) in Structural biology techniques and the structure of biological macromolecules at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1996 to 1997. In 1997, they also had the opportunity to be a FEBS Summer Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they focused on Structural Biology.
