Ala Nouri has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ala started their career as a Team Leader in the Markstrat: Simulated Marketing Strategy Business Competition in 2009. Ala then worked as a Marketing Strategist at Colligo Networks in 2010, followed by a short-term role as a Creative Director and Marketing Manager at West Coast SLAM in 2011.
From 2011 to 2012, Ala served as a Board Member for the Small Business Council at the Vancouver Board of Trade. In 2012, they joined Xerox Canada as an Account Executive, focusing on SMB Outside Sales. There, they achieved impressive sales revenue and generated new accounts.
In 2013, Ala moved to Qlik, where they assumed the role of an Account Executive for Enterprise Inside Sales. During their tenure, they exceeded sales quotas and was recognized as the Top Enterprise Inside Sales Rep in 2015.
From 2016 to 2018, Ala worked at Planhat as a Director of Americas, Sales & Customer Success. In this role, they helped companies increase customer retention and boost revenue through the use of a SaaS-based Customer Success Platform.
Ala then joined Influitive in 2018 as a Regional Sales Manager for Canada & Western U.S. Ala further progressed within the company, serving as a Director of Sales and later as a Senior Director of Sales. In these roles, they managed sales teams, advised large enterprises, and played a key role in partnerships and alliances.
Currently, Ala Nouri is working at Flybits as the Senior Director of Growth and Development, a position they have held since December 2023.
Ala Nouri completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing & Finance from The University of British Columbia from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Sales Verified SuperSender from Sendoso in 2022.
