Katherine Phelan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and design. Currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing and Interior Designer at Heartwood Homes Designs since September 2018, Katherine is responsible for acquiring new clients for high-value projects, managing design projects, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. As the Founder, Head Buyer & Creative Director of the award-winning boutique Sloane & Ivy, Katherine promotes socially conscious buying practices and fosters a culture of professionalism and female empowerment among employees. In addition to these roles, Katherine contributes to Flying Kites as a Board of Ambassadors member, launches innovative initiatives like the #girlgang subscription service, and has a background in sales operations with companies like athenahealth and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Merchandising and Design from the University of Rhode Island and has experience in various roles that highlight strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
