Gabriel Underwood is the current Vice President of Engineering at FLYR Labs. Prior to this, they served as Development Director at Iris Financial from February 1999 to August 2008, and as Software Engineer at Psygnosis / Sony Computer Entertainment from February 1998 to September 1998. Gabriel began their career as a Software Engineer at Virtual World Entertainment / FASA Interactive from July 1995 to October 1997.

Gabriel has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Gabriel has led teams in developing innovative software solutions for a variety of businesses, including CA Technologies, where they served as Director of Software Engineering from January 2008 to December 2016. At CA Technologies, Gabriel oversaw the development of software that helped operations and development teams maintain and improve mission critical apps. Gabriel also led the team that delivered brand-new monitoring for Node.js and PHP applications.

In addition to their work at CA Technologies, Gabriel also developed leading-edge end-user monitoring from both the browser and mobile device while at Iris Financial. Gabriel also built real-time analytics with true business value to provide intelligent alerts for Iris Financial's ops teams.
