Niels has extensive experience in the airline and transportation sectors, having founded Faredirect and led its growth as CEO until 2021. Niels has also held significant roles at NMBS-SNCB, Icelandair, Sabre Airline Solutions, and Etihad Airways, focusing on optimizing pricing, revenue management, and partnerships. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven and a Master after Master in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp.
