Jason Whitney

Jason Whitney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture development and management. Currently serving as the Chief Venture Officer and Executive Director of the IU Angel Network at IU Ventures since November 2017, Jason has also held roles as Vice President and Associate Vice President within the organization. In addition, Jason serves as an Advisor for the Flywheel Fund since July 2020 and was a Board Member for Canopy from 2019 to August 2021. Previously, Jason worked as Vice President and General Manager for Launch Indiana at Launch Fishers and held executive roles at the Richmond Innovation Center and Center City Development Corporation. Jason's entrepreneurial background includes owning Joe's Pizza and serving as Controller at Miami Valley Truck & Trailer, complemented by foundational experience as an Accounting Analyst at Mosey Mfg Co. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 1996 and 2000.
