Brian Fortin

Brian Fortin has extensive work experience in the field of technology infrastructure and operations. Brian began their career at Salve Regina University, where they worked as an Academic Computer Labs Support Technician and later as an Academic Computer Labs Coordinator. Brian then joined LEGO Group as a Data Center Computer Operator and later as a Senior Software Services Analyst and Sales Programmer. In 2000, Brian moved to FM Global, where they held various roles including Senior Server Specialist, Team Leader, Manager of Server & Data Network Infrastructure, and Assistant Vice President, Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure Services. In their most recent role at FM Global, Brian served as the Vice President of Technology Infrastructure & Operations. Brian'sresponsibilities included defining and delivering business value, strategy, engineering, implementation, and support for global technology infrastructure. Brian also successfully led a global team responsible for core infrastructure, security infrastructure, IT operations, and IT service delivery. In addition to their work experience, Brian has also volunteered as the Chairperson of the NetTech 2.0 IT Practitioner Advisory Group at Tech Collective.

Brian Fortin attended Salve Regina University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Additionally, they completed their Master of Science degree in Information Systems Management from Western New England University. Brian also holds several certifications including Inet+, Network+, A+, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Comptia and Microsoft Corporation, respectively.
