Karen McQuiston has extensive work experience in the investment and asset management industry. Karen is currently the Vice President of Investments Strategic Advisory at FM Global. Prior to this, they held roles at various prestigious firms such as BlackRock, where they served as the Managing Director for Global Tactical Asset Allocation and the Head of Strategic Partners Team in Client Portfolio Solutions. Karen also worked at PGIM as the Managing Director and Head of Institutional Advisory & Solutions. Karen has a strong background in strategic advisory and institutional client strategy, as demonstrated by their role as the Managing Director and Head of Strategic Advisory at Jennison Associates LLC. Karen also gained experience at Goldman Sachs as the Vice President of the Pensions, Endowments, and Foundations Group. Earlier in their career, Karen worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as the Vice President of the Strategic Investment Advisory Group, and at Salomon Brothers Asset Management as an Analyst in the Quantitative Research Group. Karen McQuiston received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Karen later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Karen holds certifications from the CFA Institute, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, obtained in 2000. Karen also has qualifications in Series 24, 7, and 63 from FINRA, although the specific years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
