Sr. Vice President of Accounting at FM:Systems

Jason Brownlee has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the accounting and finance field. Jason currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Accounting at FM:Systems, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Jason was the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Wellbore Integrity Solutions from June 2019 to June 2020.

Jason spent a significant portion of their career at Paradigm, where they held multiple roles. Jason started as the Corporate Controller in January 2012 and later became the Vice President, Corporate Controller in April 2013. Jason held this role until June 2019. During their time at Paradigm, they played a crucial role in the development and deployment of software for the oil & gas and mining industries.

Before joining Paradigm, Jason worked at ThruBit Logging Solutions as a Controller from April 2009 to January 2012. ThruBit Logging Solutions is a company focused on providing logging solutions using a unique "through the bit" deployment technique.

Jason also gained extensive experience at Schlumberger where they held various positions. Notably, they served as the Controller, Worldwide IT Operations from 2006 to 2009, managing the accounting and treasury functions for the company's global IT operations. Furthermore, they served as the Controller, Network Services Worldwide from 2004 to 2005, overseeing the global P&L for internal and external IT and network business services. Jason also served as the Specialist Finance Manager, managing month-end closings and reporting for the headquarters' retained business group.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked at Geco-Prakla and held positions such as Chief Accountant/Controller, Senior Accountant, and Buyer/Project Coordinator.

Jason Brownlee earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business. Jason attended this university from 1990 to 1994. In 1998, they pursued postgraduate education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. Additionally, in August 1998, Jason obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the institution Certified Management Accountant: CMA®.
