Emmanuel Mayumbelo has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Emmanuel began their career at Access Bank Zambia in 2011 as a Money Market Dealer in the Treasury department. Emmanuel was responsible for managing domestic treasury activities and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

In 2010, Emmanuel joined Stanbic Bank Zambia as a Manager in the Trade Finance Specialist role. Emmanuel focused on credit risk management by verifying key documents, maintaining control over physical stock counts, and providing support to stakeholders. Emmanuel later transitioned to the role of Credit Risk Officer in the Agric department, where they implemented credit procedures and managed advance administration to contain credit risk.

Emmanuel also worked as a Business Banker at Stanbic Bank Zambia, where they grew and retained a portfolio of high-value SME relationships. Emmanuel provided customized financial solutions and identified sales leads for associate company stakeholders.

At FNB Zambia, Emmanuel served as the Head of Credit Origination in the Corporate and Commercial Banking division. Emmanuel led a team of credit origination managers, specialists, and analysts, supporting business segments and achieving lending goals. Emmanuel assessed and approved credit lending, set covenants, and ensured compliance with excess policy and expired limit processes.

In 2019, Emmanuel joined Stanbic Bank as a Senior Credit Evaluation Manager in the Agribusiness and Commercial department. Emmanuel assessed and managed counterparty credit risks associated with lending and investing activities.

From 2005 to 2008, Emmanuel Mayumbelo attended Cavendish University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Following this, from 2011 to 2023, Emmanuel enrolled at Edinburgh Business School – Heriot Watts University (UK) as a student pursuing a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Strategic Planning.
