Trine Gade

Trine Gade has extensive work experience in the design industry. Trine started their career at Bondes & Dyva Grafisk A/S, where they worked as a Mesterlære | Grafiker with a specialization in typografi from 1993 to 1997. Trine then joined Tegneriet ApS as a Grafisk designer for a brief period in 1999 before moving on to NKN Grafisk A/S, where they were responsible for the grafiske afdeling from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, Trine joined Datagraf Communications as a Grafisk designer and eventually became the Designchef, responsible for leading a design team of 16 to 22 people. During their time at Datagraf Communications, they focused on design development, relaunching magazines, and cross-platform branding. Trine also led development projects and productions, as well as conducted workshops and lectures on magazine development and relaunching.

Trine then worked at Bonnier Publications A/S as a Layoutchef from May 2013 to October 2013 before starting their own design studio, Trine Gade Design Studio, from November 2013 to July 2014.

From 2014 to 2015, they joined Cool Gray as a Tegnestuechef, where they led a team of 12, providing motivation, coaching, and task planning. Trine was also responsible for budgeting, writing proposals, and invoicing, as well as collaborating with the creative team for project development and presentations.

Trine Gade then moved on to Cool Gray as a Senior projekleder from January 2016 to October 2017, where they focused on developing the customer portfolio, ensuring smooth project operations, and optimizing processes and solutions.

Lastly, Trine Gade worked at FOA as a Visuel redaktør og art director from September 2018 onwards, where their main responsibilities involve visual editing and art directing.

Trine Gade's education history reveals that they have pursued various fields of study over the years. From 1985 to 1988, they attended Stenhus Gymnasium in Holbæk, where they completed their matematisk-musisk student degree. Following this, they enrolled at Københavns Universitet (University of Copenhagen) from 1990 to 1992 and studied nordisk filologi (danskstudiet). Moving forward, Trine Gade attended Bondes & Dyva Grafisk A/S from 1993 to 1997, where they specialized in typografi as part of their grafiker degree. Lastly, from 1997 to 1999, they attended Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, focusing on grafonom / visuel kommunikation. Apart from their formal education, Trine Gade obtained a PRINCE2 Foundation certification from Ledernes KompetenceCenter in May 2014.
