Michael Aldridge

Michael Aldridge has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Focal Medical, Inc. Prior to this, they held various roles at Hexima Limited, including Non Executive Director, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, and Director and Chief Business Officer. Michael has also worked as a Strategy Consultant for their own company and as the Senior Vice President Corporate & Strategic Development at Codexis, Inc. Before that, they were the Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategic Development at Questcor Pharmaceuticals. Aldridge has also served as a Non-Executive Director at Allon Therapeutics, Inc. and worked as a Consultant in the field of biopharmaceuticals for their own company, Biopharmaceutical Consulting. Additionally, they have experience as the Managing Director & CEO of Xenome Limited and as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Peplin. Michael began their career at Bear Stearns, where they worked as a Vice President and was later promoted to Associate Director.

Michael Aldridge obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury, studying from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Applied Finance at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) from 1992 to 1994.
