John F.

John F. has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a Systems Administrator role at DynCorp International in 1993. After that, they moved to Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union, where they held multiple roles from 1995 to 2002, including Network, Cyber Security, and IS Operations Manager, Network & Cyber Security Manager, IS Technology Administrator, and Programmer/Analyst. From 2002 to 2012, they served as President and Chief Information Security Officer at Lighthouse Service Industries. In 2011, they began a WebMaster role at CDTHP, and in 2012, they took on a Vice President role at Cloud Dancers Therapeutic Horsemanship Program. In 2022, they began a Chief Information Security Officer role at Focal Point Solutions Group, LLC.

John F. is currently in the process of earning their Doctorate in Cyber Defense (PhDCD) from Dakota State University. In 2017, they completed a Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking course from the SANS Technology Institute. John also holds a Master's Degree from the University of New Haven in Information Protection/Security and National Security. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from The University of New Mexico in Management Information Systems. John F. also has several certifications, including CISSP from (ISC)2, Export Compliance (EC) from the CITI Program, Research with Human Subjects (RCR) from the CITI Program, Global Information Security Professional - GISP from the SANS Institute, Cloud Essentials from CompTIA, Computer Programming from CNM - Central New Mexico Community College, and a FBI Citizens Academy Program Certificate from the FBI Albuquerque Division.
