Leonardo Fontes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Leonardo has worked as a Director of Digital Technology at Focus Brands LLC, where they collaborated with executives and cross-functional teams to optimize digital experiences across multiple brands. At Weedmaps, they served as the Director of Software Engineering. Leonardo also held the position of Senior Manager in Engineering at Nordstrom and IT Software Engineering Manager at The Home Depot. Additionally, Leonardo has held managerial positions at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products and The Walt Disney Company, where they led teams in web and app development and managed enterprise social applications. Leonardo began their career as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Walt Disney World and also worked as an Owner/Operator of their freelance graphic operations business. Leonardo has vast experience in technology support, design, and development, with expertise in areas such as marketing, corporate communications, and compliance.

Leonardo Fontes attended Center for the Media Arts from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Television and Video Production. Following that, they attended Valencia College from 1991 to 1993, focusing on Drafting/Design Engineering Technologies/Technicians. Lastly, they studied Computer Aided Drafting & Design at Seminole State College of Florida from 1997 to 1998.
