Shannon Engelhardt

Shannon Engelhardt has extensive experience in human resources management. Shannon is currently the Human Resources Director at FOCUS Broadband, where they support the company's growth and expansion by overseeing HR policies, activities, and staff. Shannon collaborates with senior leadership to understand staffing, recruiting, and retention goals and ensures legal compliance. Prior to this role, they served as the Human Resources Manager at FOCUS Broadband, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations. Shannon also has experience as a Human Resources Generalist at the City of Villa Rica, where they developed and executed personnel procedures and policies and managed talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Additionally, they have served as a foster parent and graduate student, navigating the challenges of providing care to special needs children while pursuing their Masters in Human Resources Management. Shannon's previous experience includes roles as a Human Resources Specialist at Emory Valley Center, a Human Resources Secretary at Oak Ridge Schools, a Human Resources Manager at 101 Mobility, and various positions in the United States Air Force and Staffmark. Shannon Engelhardt, MHRM, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Ashford University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Shannon also earned a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from The University of Arizona Global Campus, completing their studies from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in October 2019.
