Patrick Dayton

Patrick Dayton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick is currently employed at Foghorn Consulting, Inc. as a Cloud Engineer since February 2022. Prior to their current position, Patrick worked at GE Capital, where they served as the Payment DevOps Leader from January to February 2022, and as a Payment DevOps Engineer from January 2020 to January 2022. Patrick also worked as a DevOps Engineer (Consultant) from September 2019 to January 2020 during their time at GE Capital.

Before joining GE Capital, Patrick worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at DocNetwork.org from June 2017 to September 2019. Patrick gained experience as a Consultant at FastRobot, LLC from April 2016 to April 2017, specializing in server automation with Chef. Patrick also worked at Carson's American Bistro as a Server and Food Runner from January 2015 to April 2016.

Patrick's earlier experiences include working as a 3D Modeler, Carpenter, and part of the Structures Team at Vayu, Inc from March to August 2015. Patrick also worked as a 3D Designer at Thingsmiths from November 2014 to January 2015. Patrick gained valuable customer service experience by working at Palio's as a Runner, Host, and Server from February to August 2014.

During their career journey, Patrick also worked as an Intern at Wall Street Productions in the summer of 2013 and as an Assistant Waterfront Director at YMCA Camp Copneconic from June 2011 to August 2012.

Patrick Dayton attended Michigan State University from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management. In 2010 to 2011, they also attended Washtenaw Community College, although no degree was specified. Additionally, Patrick Dayton obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2020, they received the AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA) certification. In September 2021, they obtained the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification. In July 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification. Finally, in June 2023, they obtained the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification.
