Jerry Virta

Jerry Virta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jerry currently holds the position of Marcom Operations Manager at Foleon since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Content Operations Specialist at Foleon from April 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing content processes and governance across the company.

Jerry also worked as a Visual Designer at Sofia Virta (MP, Parliament of Finland) from November 2022 to April 2023, where they designed campaign materials and assisted in creating visual branding for a Finnish politician.

Before that, they worked at Spotzer as a Copywriter from May 2020 to April 2021, where they wrote SEO copy for clients' websites and managed metadata. Jerry then transitioned to the role of Client Manager at Spotzer from September 2019 to April 2021, where they managed client accounts and ensured customer success.

Jerry also gained experience as a Content Planner at Kanava.to from August 2018 to September 2019, where they planned and scheduled content for clients' social media and marketing campaigns. Additionally, they worked as a Customer Experience Researcher at TimeSpace for a brief period in June and July 2018.

Prior to that, Jerry worked as a Photographer at Karu Designs from June 2013 to December 2017, contributing to the brand's focus on sustainability and Nordic-inspired leather goods. Jerry also worked as a Social Media Intern at The Cold Pressed Juicery from February 2017 to July 2017, where they managed social media platforms and provided customer support.

Jerry's early work experience includes roles as a Food Service Worker at Taco Nito in 2015, a Photographer at Clinica Bellatriz in December 2014-January 2015, and a Sales Assistant at Lidl Suomi in June-August 2014. Overall, Jerry has demonstrated skills in content operations, visual design, copywriting, client management, and social media management throughout their career.

Jerry Virta attended the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in International Communication and Media, with a focus on Communication and Media Studies. Jerry also pursued a minor in Arts at Pace University, although the specific start and end years are unknown. In addition to their education, Jerry has obtained certifications in Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in January 2023 and in Leadership training from Lepaya in August 2022.
