Jr Velazquez

Jr Velazquez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jr started their career as a Claims Representative Intern at the Social Security Administration in 2001, where they gained knowledge in various aspects of social security benefits. Jr then transitioned to BDO Seidman, LLP in 2004, where they worked as an Assurance Manager until 2010. At Tequila Patrón Spirits, they served as the Worldwide Controller from 2010 to 2019. Following that, they held the role of CFO/COO at Toast Spirits LLC from 2019 to 2020. Most recently, they were employed as an Assurance Senior Manager at BDO USA, LLP from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the CFO of Foley Family Wines.

Jr Velazquez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge from 2000 to 2003. Jr then obtained several additional certifications, including Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in July 2012, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in January 2011, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy in September 2007.
