Martha Coakley

Martha Coakley is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in both private practice and public service. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Foley Hoag LLP since June 2022, Coakley previously held the position of Vice President of Government Affairs at Juul Labs from April 2019 to June 2022. Coakley had two stints at Foley Hoag LLP, initially as Partner and later as Of Counsel from May 2015 to April 2019. From January 2007 to January 2015, Coakley served as the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and held the role of District Attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney's Office from January 1999 to January 2007. Coakley's educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in the History of Ideas from Williams College.
