Director Of School Culture Lower Schoo at Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School

Trish Morris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Trish began their career at Chuck Davis African American Dance Ensemble as a dancer in 2002. Trish then worked as a dance teacher at Messiah Dance Works from 1992 to 2006. In 2002, they returned to dancing as a member of Kariamu and Company. Trish also worked as a dance teacher at Philadelphia Arts and Education from 2008 to 2009. Trish then served as a case manager at Interim House West Phmc from 2009 to 2010. Trish continued their case management work at IPS from 2011 to 2012. Trish also worked as an artistic director at Collaboration Works from 2003 to 2015. From 2003 to 2016, they served as a milieu counselor coordinator at MCC Warwick house. In 1998, Trish worked as a consultant at Eleone Dance Theater. Most recently, they have been the director of school culture at Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School since 2015.

Trish Morris' education history begins in 1992 when they obtained their High School Diploma in Dance from Franklin Learning Center. Following their high school graduation, Trish attended the University of the Arts from 1996 until 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Education.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Trish pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Forensics from Walden University. Their enrollment date at Walden University is unclear, but they continue to study towards their degree.

Currently, Trish is furthering their education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where they are working towards a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. The duration of their studies at this institution is ongoing.
