Steven Wade

Steven Wade has been working in the software engineering and web development fields since 2007. Steven began their career at Popsight as a Web Developer, then moved to SmileMakers in 2009 in the same role. In 2010, they became a Senior Web Engineer at Fuel. In 2012, they joined Mediasation as a UX - UI - I/O Engineer. In 2014, they were a Senior Software Engineer at MateriaLink. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Help Scout, where they led the team that created the Plus Plan and implemented features like Teams and Custom Fields, and built integrations with 3rd party services such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Infusionsoft. Steven also built tools and frameworks for implementing common patterns such as OAuth and CRM integrations. In 2018, they began working at Follow Up Boss as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, and also began speaking at conferences for The Software Development Community.

Steven Wade attended Greenville Technical College from 2003 to 2008, where they studied Web Designs and Graphic Design. Steven then attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
