Nicola Brajato

Nicola Brajato, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO since November 2019, with prior experience as a Doctoral Researcher in Fashion and Gender Studies. Nicola is also a Visiting Lecturer at IED Istituto Europeo di Design and Polimoda, and a member of the research staff at the International Research Centre "Culture, Fashion, Communication." From March to June 2024, Nicola will hold a position as a Visiting Research Fellow at Winchester School of Art, and has previously engaged as a Visiting Scholar at Parsons School of Design and Parsons Paris. Nicola completed a PhD in Fashion and Gender Studies at Universiteit Antwerpen after obtaining a Laurea Magistrale in Fashion Culture and a Laurea triennale in Culture e Tecniche della Moda from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
