Alexander Kobakhidze

Alexander Kobakhidze is a seasoned tax technology professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in the field. Currently serving as the Tax Technology Director at Fonoa since July 2021, Alexander previously held multiple senior roles at Uber, including Head of Tax Technology and Indirect Tax Manager, focusing on the EMEA region. Alexander's earlier experience includes positions at Petrofac as an Indirect Tax Consultant and at Deloitte as an Indirect Tax Advisor. Educational qualifications include an LLM in International Law from The University of Edinburgh, a Diploma in Taxation from the Malta Institute of Taxation, and a Master of Arts with Honours in Economics and Law from The University of Edinburgh.
