Vanessa Cantero Gómez

Vanessa Cantero Gómez started their work experience in 2013 as a Talentum Startups Long Track Scholarship recipient at Telefónica. In 2014, they worked at RubiconMD, where they had three roles: Lead iOS Developer Intern, Lead iOS Developer, and Software Engineer. During their time at RubiconMD, Vanessa was responsible for managing the company's AWS Infrastructure, implementing HIPAA compliance measures, and adding extra security through certificate pinning. Vanessa also built an iOS app from scratch and implemented various features such as push notifications and user authentication. In 2019, Vanessa joined Cabify as a Backend Engineer and later took on the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the platform's development. Currently, they work as a Senior Software Engineer at Fonoa, starting in 2022.

Vanessa Cantero Gómez completed their education at Universidad de Málaga, where they obtained a BSc in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science. Vanessa attended the university from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they also studied at the same institution from 2009 to 2010, pursuing a BSc in Computer Science Engineering. Additionally, Vanessa Cantero Gómez obtained a certification in "Introduction To Computer Science Building A Search Engine" from Udacity in April 2012.
