Farhan Rafiq has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on front office operations and hotel management. Farhan started their career at Hotel Management School NHL Stenden as a Revenue Manager, overseeing revenue management and distribution strategy. Farhan then worked at the W Fort Lauderdale as a Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager on Duty, supporting the housekeeping manager and director in managing operations for a luxury beachfront hotel. Farhan then joined the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club as a Front Office Manager, where they led a team and ensured high-end guest services. Farhan later joined the Waterstone Resort & Marina as the Director of Operations, responsible for administering and managing the operation of a luxury beachfront hotel. Most recently, Farhan became the Director of Front Office Operations at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, and they are currently the Director of Front Office Operations at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
Farhan Rafiq completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Hons degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Stenden University from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Strategic Management from the University of Munich in September 2013. Farhan also acquired a certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020.
