Lorena Toland

Chief People Officer at Food Bank of the Rockies

Lorena Toland has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Lorena started their career as the Director of Human Resources at Radisson Suites Tucson in 2007 and held this position until 2011. Lorena then joined Brown Palace Hotel as the Director of Training and later became the Director of Human Resources from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they worked at Quorum Hotels and Resorts as part of the Human Resources team from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Food Bank of the Rockies, where they have held various positions, including Director of Human Resources, Vice President of People & Culture, and currently serves as the Chief People Officer, starting in December 2022.

Lorena Toland has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University. Lorena also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their degrees, Lorena has obtained several certifications including the SHRM-CP from SHRM in December 2015, Certified Hospitality Trainer from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in July 2015, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2013.
