Food for Climate League
Stephanie Szemetylo is a Senior Design Researcher and Research Lead at Food for Climate League, where efforts focus on guiding research projects in collaboration with food industry stakeholders to promote climate-smart eating. Previous experience includes serving as a Design Strategist at Twisthink and multiple research assistant roles at the University of Michigan, where contributions involved the development of resources for addressing wicked problems and enhancing accessibility within digital contexts. Stephanie's industrial design background includes positions at Kohler Co. and internships at various design firms, where skills in concept development, user experience, and trend research were honed. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Integrative Design from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati.

The Food for Climate League is working to identify the optimal communications tactics and avenues for engagement to catalyze a global movement toward climate-beneficial eating. Our goal is to create expertly-developed and tested narratives that celebrate delicious, healthy, and Instagram-worthy foods that are great for us and great for the planet, and that can be implemented by businesses, governments, and organizations around the world.
