Noeleen Murtagh has extensive experience in library and information management, currently serving as the Librarian at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland since 1997. In this role, Noeleen manages the FSAI Library and Information Service, ensuring that staff have access to relevant resources and are informed about new research and tools. Previously, Noeleen was the Information Executive at the same organization, where responsibilities included establishing the Food Safety Information Centre and managing public queries. Earlier career experience includes working as a Library Assistant for South Dublin County Council. Noeleen holds a PG Diploma in Information & Records Management from Northumbria University and a DipLIS in Library and Information Science from Aberystwyth University, as well as degrees in Food Science and Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin.
