Sarah Walsh is an experienced professional with a background in public health nutrition and food safety. Currently serving as a Technical Executive at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Sarah has held roles focused on public health nutrition safety and food incident management since September 2021. Prior experience includes coordinating volunteers at Cambridge Sustainable Food CIC from November 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included volunteer documentation and management. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Technical Inspector for Bandon Vale Cheese, overseeing microbiological testing, and as a Research Assistant at Teagasc on a project related to probiotics. Early in the career, Sarah served as a Membership and Communications Assistant for The Nutrition Society. Sarah holds an MSc in Food Security Policy and Management from University College Cork, completed in 2020, and a degree from Munster Technological University from 2013 to 2017.
