Dhruv Dhawan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation, marketing, and film production. Currently serving as General Manager - Innovation, Marketing & Sustainability at Food Specialities Limited since September 2018, Dhawan also holds the position of Head of Innovation & Marketing. Concurrently, Dhawan has been a Director & Producer at Film Real since June 2014. Previous roles include Producer, Writer & Director at Why Knot Media Inc, with a notable achievement being the production of the documentary film "WHY KNOT," which involved comprehensive research and management across five countries. Dhawan has a robust academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology & Visual Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Film/Video Production from The University of British Columbia, alongside film direction training from the New York Film Academy. Dhawan's initial marketing experience at Food Specialities Limited significantly contributed to a strong understanding of business and client perspectives in filmmaking.
