Nisha Persaud Swinton

Nisha Persaud Swinton is a community volunteer at Mayday Space where Nisha volunteers at various events focusing on neighborhood and global issues. Nisha also serves as a National Senior Organizer at Food & Water Watch, leading organizing efforts and building relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, Nisha was a community volunteer at Public Bank NYC, a board member at Maine Food Strategy and Portland Water District, and a board member at Haymarket People's Fund. Nisha has a Master's degree in Environmental Law and Policy with a focus on Water Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Environmental Studies from the University of Iowa.
