Karl Atkins is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Managing Director of Foodbuy UK & Ireland since May 2019, Karl also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Compass Group - Foodbuy, overseeing a range of teams including Supply Chain, Account Management, Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing. Prior to this, Karl was the Commercial Director at Coca-Cola European Partners, managing key business channels and leading strategic initiatives. Karl's diverse background includes significant roles at BRITVIC PLC and Compass Group UK & Ireland, focusing on category management, procurement, and commercial strategy. Karl holds an Executive MBA with Distinction and a 1:1 degree in French, Spanish, and European Politics/Economics from the University of Bath.
