Dr. John R. Miller

Dr. John R. Miller has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. John R. is currently working as a Foodlink Community Farm Specialist at Foodlink, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Dr. Miller served as the Pastor of Education at Living Word Temple of Restoration starting in 2006. Dr. John R. also worked as a Professor at Regent University from August 2006 onwards. From 2007 to 2020, Dr. Miller held multiple positions at Elim Bible Institute and College, including Program Chair and Professor. Dr. John R. was also a Professor at Sound of the Genuine from September 2006 to May 2016. Dr. Miller served as the Chief Academic Officer at Elim Bible Institute & College from June 2011 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Area Representative at Elim Fellowship from 2000 to 2005. Dr. Miller also served as a Hospice Chaplain at Hospice from 1997 to 2005. Dr. John R. was a Pastor at Ellisburg Church from 1998 to 2004 and at Aneta Community Church from July 1996 to July 1998.

Dr. John R. Miller pursued their education in a chronological manner. Dr. John R. began their studies at Trinity Seminary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Divinity degree in Theology/Theological Studies. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Rochester and completed a Clinical Pastoral Education CPE program with a focus on Chaplaincy at Strong Memorial Hospital. Subsequently, they attended Northeastern Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity degree in Divinity/Ministry. Finally, they pursued their Ph.D. at Regent University, specializing in Church History: Renewal Studies.
